I just bought 1989 gt convertible.... bought it with 5 lug conversion,car been lowered 1.2f-1.0r..question is why is it rubbing against strut dust cover and cant make wide turns .....I took wheel of car and found 3 three washers per stud to bring wheel out some...whom ever did this had no idea of the risk involved......I am running 235/55/17... 4 corners with bullit wheels I think came from 04 mustang...I have no idea what conversion was used 94-95 mustang or lincoln ..how do I determine what I have..what is my best wheel to put in here without using spacers...I just want to put something stock that looks good without running spacers....The tire combo might be wrong....I dont know much about this pony....I just love the way the car looks,but dont want to wreck it because of the wheels....Any advice would help..I am trying to drive this thing as soon as possible....here are some picks of the car...thank you guys...ps did I pay to much $2000...65k...5 speed

 

 

 

 

2 grand for 65k miles and looks to be in good shape. Eather you found a great deal or just got extremely screwed over

 

Previous owner didn't know what he was doing IMO.

If you want to know what parts you have in there... take pictures with the wheels off and post them. Spindles, suspension, calipers, everything. We know more than any parts store ever will.
