Default Anyone running 255/50r18 in the rear?

2012 GT here. My rear tires are starting to go bald and I don't have enough for a full rim+tire upgrade yet. Instead of just new stock tire sizes on the stock rims I was considering the stock 235/50r18 in the front and possibly a 255/50r18 in the rear. Slightly wider, slightly taller. Besides a bit more traction, I think it would look neat. Has anyone tried this? Is it a small enough difference where it wouldn't mess with the abs or traction control? And yes I'm aware that it will slightly affect my effecting hearing and my speedo.

Also just for the record this car is just a daily driver. I do have an x pipe and cat back exhaust but i don't ever really push it in any corners, so I'm not too concerned about increasing understeer.

I run a similar staggered setup but 235/50R18 up front and 255/45R18 in the rear. I opted to keep the heights similar.

The car is pretty well balance that way and never understeers unless I turn the wheel sharp and late while heavy on the brakes. Under steer sucks and if you live where it rains a lot, you may want to take that more into consideration.

Yeah I'm wanting something like that but with the 50 series, slightly taller rear tire. I'm probably going to do it anyways, I just wanted some input

I checked a tire size calculator and the diameter, circumference, and revs per mile are all within 3% so I'll be good
