I'm a mechanic and I had a 3.8 crate Long Block from Ford that my company put in a car in 2000 for about 2 hours worth of driving. They took the engine out and put in another one and this one sat for a few years until they decided to purge left over material and no one wanted this engine so I brought it home. It sat there for 9 years so I finally decided to get a mustang to put this into. I bought a 2000 Mustang for $1500.00 that needed a new engine. It has leather seats, traction control, nice stereo and the body is in good shape. So I transferred all the intake over and that was it.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Cold Air Intake, installed duel Exhaust with H-pipe, 8.8 Cobra IRS rear end with 3.55 gears
Suspension Modifications:
Eibach lowering spring, bigger sway bar in front, Removed the 7.5 axle and installed 04 8.8 Cobra IRS rear end, installed IRS exhaust, and added an aluminium drive shaft.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
235/40/18 on black 8 spoke deep dish wheels added 1.5" wheel spacer to the rear amd 1" in the front to eliminate wheel hitting inner fender well and sway bar.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Projector head lights and LED 3rd brake light and rear tail light
Future Modifications:
Removed the 7.5 axle and installed 04 8.8 Cobra IRS rear end with 3.55 gears on 2014/03/07, installed IRS exhaust, and added an aluminium drive shaft on 2014/03/19
