So if you stand at the front of the Mustang, and look down at the hood scoops, you might notice the gap is slightly different between left & Right. Not symmetrical. This will not do. A bit involved to repair, but it has to be done.

There was a hump here , cut out & reglass.. This Hood was definitely removed from the mold while it was still too soft and it distorted.

The rough ass cheap Hood had to have skim coat of plastic filler to make it straight enough for one of my incredible paint jobs. ; -) We do it in chapters on a panel this large..

This Hood had louvers in it which were open to the engine compartment I don't like that on the streetcars and these louvers were also poorly made. I cut them out and put new fiberglass in to make that section of the hood smooth and closed
