Completed - took it to the park for a photo. Everything you see here, except the paint, came on this car in 1965, including all of the chrome. The color is the original Honey Gold.

The ultimate cowl test. Only for the truely insane. Want to know if your cowl leaks? Try this. Turns out the the plug hole in the side of the cowl is exactly the right size to thread a standard garden hose. It also cleans it out quite nicely.

One of my favorite before and after photos. The car had some serious rust damage on all four corners, patched by the original owner with aluminum, home made braces and Bondo. Here, he had brushed heavy black material as far up as he could reach and then sprayed leftover spray paint up inside to try to protect the inside of the fender. I rebuilt the original brace and patched the fender. You can see the reapir seams on the brace and fender.

The headlight housing on the right has been taken to metal and primed and painted. It looked like the one on the left before. The Ford oval logo is still visible on the restored part.
