This article applies to the Ford Mustang (1994-2004).

The blower motor in your Ford Mustang is responsible for powering the engine fan that forces air into the cabin. The blower motor is wired to the blower motor switch, which is located inside the cabin and controlled by the driver. As time goes by, the blower motor is exposed to the elements as well as normal wear and tear from being used everyday, so at some point it will give out and need to be replaced. Follow this step-by-step guide to remove and replace the blower motor in your Ford Mustang.

Materials Needed

  • 8mm socket
  • Ratchet wrench with extension
