Boost12 is the name of the early 2000’s black Mustang drag racer featured in this YouTube video by 1320video. Boost12 is indeed all about boost, and the 2,200 horsepower emanating from its massive turbocharged engine block are nothing short of breathtaking. I’d love to tell you what kind of engine Boost12 packs under the hood, but the truth is that I’m simply not sure.
How so? Well, if you follow Boost12’s illustrious drag racing career across the midwest, you’ll see that it’s performed with a variety of race packages ranging from small block Ford motors with single turbos, to twin turbos, to other crazy set ups. In fact, t’s rumored that the engine featured in this video is actually a twin turbocharged big block Chevy. Say what!
Regardless of that Boost12 is packing, one thing is for sure, it annihilated every single contender it raced against, and it flexed every single one of its 2,200 muscles to take home $20,000 bucks!
