High-Powered Custom Classic Pony Car Could Be Yours
This custom job might be listed at $122,900, but you won’t have to worry about anyone else having anything close to it.
The ’67 Mustang GT, which is up for sale on eBay, is a one-of-a-kind commissioned by former NFL football player, Ernest Wilford. Once featured in Rides Magazine, the restored one-off Fastback is the handy work of renowned builder, Bowtie South, who constructed the masterpiece in 2012.
Under the hood, the fastback features a 500HP bored and stroked 351 Windsor V8 built by Ford Performance Solutions with a hydraulic roller cam, lifters and rockers, Super Victor Jr. Aluminum heads, Mighty Demon 850 carburetor, and Canton 7quart oil pan with screens.
The transmission is a Tremec 600 5-speed on the floor with a Tremec Lakewood bell housing and multi finger clutch. All that good stuff transfers the power to the Curry 9-inch traction lock posi rear end with 373 gears via a custom built aluminum drive shaft complete with a safety loop.
The exterior details include a GT-500E body kit, custom hood, functional side draft fuel inlet and side scoops, as well as a Candy Apple Brandywine pin striping with charcoal stripes.
It’s all listed here on eBay, so if you’ve got a spare $122k, I can’t imagine this one will be sitting idle for long.
