Rare “Kelly Python” Mustang for Sale

If you’ve never heard of it, I don’t blame you. The Kelly Python is sort of a kit, and sort of its own car. It was built on a Fox Body platform, though some chassis modifications changed the wheelbase and other dimensions as well. It was offered briefly through select Ford dealers as the total production run stopped at 12. It showcases typical ’80s angular styling, with crisp lines and a wedge nose. As opposed to other kits offered in the ’80s, this one didn’t suffer from attempting to look like something Italian, and it looks all the better for it. Since it uses the Fox Body’s 5.0 engine and other running gear, you can already assume what it’ll do for performance.

The seller is looking for a cash deal and has it listed for $11,900 on Craigslist, which isn’t too bad considering it only has 37,000 miles. That’s a low number for any Fox Body, let alone something quite unique like this one. If you’re feeling inclined to check it out, the seller is located near Colorado Springs.
