Roush louver problem?!?
Ok, so I have a set of roush rear window louvers that I bout about two weeks ago from a guy and went to get them installed friday at my friends body shop, and he said that he didn't want to install them because they looked to insecure to be held on tight. Well anyways as it seems. I can't seem to find out what all is supposed to come with the louvers and Roush sucks at getting back to their customers(at least in my case) and I was wondering if I maybe missing something to mount my louvers. Here are a few pics of the back side including all the mounting hardware that came with the louvers. PLEASE, PLEASE help me figure out how to get these installed and done to where they won't have a tendancy to fly off at 70mph or in the Kansas wind. Thanks in advance for the help.

RE: Roush louver problem?!?
ok, i installed the louvers on my car by myself, and the mounting hardware looks correct. there are the 3 brackets with double-sided tape which attach to the car, and then the mounts should be held to the brackets with a small hex bolt. did you get the template with the parts? the template makes it really easy for installation. i was a little uneasy about the tape strength holding on the glass/body, and there have been NO problems(plus i figure these are EXACTLY THE SAME as the ones used on the $60,000 stage 3's), just make sure when you install them, the area is clean. sorry to hear that ROUSH hasn't responded, they are usually prompt with my inquiries. best of luck!!!

Ok, if you say that is what yours looked like and that is all that came with them when you installed them I will take you word for it. I was just a little leary of how well they would hold on with that little amount of tape and little adhesion to the body. Also when I get them up to the car they seem to have about an eight of an inch gap at the top and bottom of the louvers. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how they have gotten them to mount flush, because right now they don't look good like that at all. Thanks again.

RE: Roush louver problem?!?
Thanks a bunch Fig06. I was looking all over for those instructions and couldn't find any until now. I guess all I'm actually missing is the window template to align them onto the car. I guess while I'm at it since Roush won't reply to me I'll as if anyone has a set of templates that they would be willing to let me have it to install my louvers? I'm really wanting to get them installed, but don't have the template to do it, so I guess I'll just keep waiting.

Yeah, everything is there....I've had mine on for about 6 months so far....they are very secure...Just make sure you handwash your car....sending through a car wash may be too much of a test of the tape. But hey, it may not cause any problems...I'm just playing it safe and taking care of my pony myself.
