Is it safe to put adhesion promoter on the car paint? The instructions I received was to use the adhesion promoter on the back of the louver, before applying 3M tape onto the louver. The alcohol swabs were to clean the area on the car, that the 3M tape would stick to.
The alcohol swabs were correct.
The alcohol is the bottle from the drug store is the wrong stuff.
