Default another gt v6 grille question

I know the gt grille will not fit without some kind of modification because of different size. But I am curious if anyone had success doing a mod and if so any kind of instruction? Thanks.

hey, just get the V6 grill. the gt grill is wider and taller and sticks out the frt a little. it can be crammed in, but thats what it looks like afterwards. theres a fog light/gt/billet look grill and some others for the V6 here, about 24 grills down:

i got my abs grill a few years back before carid bought the company. its seen 60+k of all year dd and still looks good, couldnt find a great pic of the grill

am has a oem looking grill with fogs too for the V6

I never understood the fascination with putting a GT grille into a V6. What's wrong with the V6 grilles? Pretty sure there are similar designs between the GT and V6 is you want billet, honeycomb, eleanor, etc etc.

It's more for the fog lights. Because a lot of gt drivers switch their grilles, it is really easy to find cheap. I was only asking because I got a hold of one real cheap. Plus the only downside for me with gt style grille for v6 is that the fog lights are a little to close together. I appreciate the responses!

the grilles for the GT are cheaper because they dont come with a wiring harness which you will need which is an additional 80 bucks if you want a good one that looks stock. get the street scene its easy to install and looks oem. thats what I used formy Roush fogs and I am pleased with the results.
