Does anyone know where I can get my hands on the templates for a roush wing? I purchased a look alike wing on ebay and it came with no template. It seems every body shop around is weeks out due to all the hail damage in the area. It doesnt look that hard to mount if I can only find the templates. Any help would be appreciated.

 

If you email Roush they will mail you out a template. Do you have the hardware to install it?

 

Hmmmm, I would be surprised if Roush sends you out a Template for a "Look a like Wing " !!

 

After some hassles with the body shop wanting the template and giving me a hard time I decided to do the install myself. I took the outside pieces and traced the edges on paper. I then cut the triangle shape out and made my own template. From there I put it back on the outside piece and marked the three holes with a marker. Next ..... I held the paper template I made to the backside of the wing piece and placed it on the car positioning the piece and the paper template I made. After that I held the paper to the car and removed the wing. I was able to use my marker and touch the hole marks that I put on the copy paper and it bled through to the car. Wala .... drilled three holes and its looking good now.

Ooh and I had the shaker 1000 system in the car. What a pita to pull out. You have to remove it to get to the right side panel to install that part of the wing.
