I'm thinking about getting these stripes in white to put on my black v6. I'm gonna do the job myself and i have read a lot of guides to do so. I was gonna buy from AM but they don't have the stripes i'm looking for. i found ones on ebay that the seller says are 3M outdoor grade. Should i buy them?

The only solid advice I can give is you get what you pay for. I looked into stripes and for what I wanted installed, it was $775. I wanted dark metallic silver with real metal flake, triple laminated to prevent the flake from oxidizing, real top knotch product.

The ad doesn't say what the material actually is that they are selling. I'd be leery.

got my stripes from baltimore street mods, when I was looking to have the stripes installed I located a local guy and he told me that it is the only place he buys from because they have such good quality material. I have had no issues other than a few rock hits otherwise the stripes have held their color. Ive had mine since march 2009.
