Default Style bar issue any help?

hey I just installed a MMD Style bar a couple weeks ago. On vacation I noticed a little ripple in the outer covering I smoothed it back out thinking maybe it was a small glue issue. A day later this is what it looked like in the picture and the next day the whole thing had came loose. Anyone else have any problems like this? american muscle is replacing it but I wondered if anyone else had these issues or if I should expect to see the same results again with the new one?

It also looks like it's not sitting flat on top of the trim panel (see the gap towards the back?)

Apparently there's a reason the CDC bars cost more

Hope AM gets it sorted out for you quick.

I had my suspicions that the bar may be bent a little when I found a huge foot print on the box. The other side looked perfect hopefully it will get here better condition than last time, the packaging was not good. Ya this bar is a little cheaper but still for nearly 300$ you would expect better.

I don't disagree, you should expect much better than the covering peeling like that. Hopefully the replacement is good.

Thanks Torch, I never saw one single review that said it had peeling problems, there were a few that said fitment wasnt perfect. the directons to put this on were terrible I couldnt believe they wanted me to use a 2" hole saw for an 1 1/2" cut and most of the tools they suggest arent the right sizes... wow

I got mine on ebay for around $80 because it was coming apart there too. A Little glue it looks like new and has for over a year.
