That's an idea. I was just looking at that over at latemodelrestoration. It's $450 over there though...

And the estimate was for replacing the front bumper completely.

Question

@pascal-do you know what exactly comes with that kit. I've been looking for a cheaper alternative to the kit from Late Model Resto. and this look promising. will it come with all of the lower grills and such to complete the bumper or will I need to go part hunting?

Thanks, sbmiller24

Hitting a garage wall hard enough to crack the bumper down the center straight thru and pulling it off in the corners would take some work I would think. More likely she was texting someone or was drunk and just ran into the wall and said oh shhh. I would take that bumper off and inspect it underneath.

Tousley says 300. But that would make my AM grill obsolete...

We'll see. Another month or so of overtime and it'll be time to decide.

With the bumper you get the 2 lower fake grilles, the lower filler panel that goes all the way across the bottom and connect with the fender liners and the lower radiator shield.
Also included is a front license plate bracket and some mounting hardware (pop rivets etc...).

Since you have a GT, you'll reuse your lower radiator shield and front half of your fender liners.
The V6 guys have to get the radiator shield with the fender liners and an upper grille as well.

I don't think you'll need to hunt for anything...

Thanks Pascal! I appreciate you writing back to me and letting me know what to expect. I've already checked with Tousley and put in the part number you previously mentioned and I think this may be the kit I go with in the future! Thank you!

You're welcome and good luck.
Don't wait too long because with Ford usually, after a price drop they discontinue that particular item shortly after...
