Default DRL for 05-09 "Daytime Running Lights"

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any info/wiring diagrams for daytime running lights for the 05-09 Mustangs.

I have the CCFL Halo lights from American Muscle and would like the halo to run when the car is on. I would use the parking lights, but that of course turns the tail lights on.

Anyone have a solution for either wiring the halo's specifically (different wires than headlamps) or disabling the tail lights while the parking lights are on. I don't mind the turn signals being on as I have smoked them, and I'm also looking at switchback LEDs in the future as well.

Thanks in advance!

If you want to run the halo's only, then you could just wire in a switch that you turn on/off at your convenience. There are numerous places in our Mustangs to put a switch, and make it look decent. You could even add a small rocker style switch by the headlights, like they do for the aftermarket fog light harnesses. Just a thought.

I don't have a diagram but I can describe it to you. Look at the back of your blinker (you should take your bumper off to do this), right next to the three wire connector on your blinker (one positive for steady, one positive to blinker relay, and one ground) you'll see a two wire connector that plugs into the little bulb on the outer edge of your blinker, that's your parking light. If you don't want your taillights to come on, the easiest way to do it is to just connect the wire to your battery, ground the negative, and install a switch. Good luck, show up pics once you're done.

DRLs are for canadian specific S197s.
Its a programming item in the SJB.
But if you wish to discover this for
yourself...
