Default GT Fog Light addition to V6

I tried to read the sticky, but most of the pics or pages simply do not come up they are so old.
Anyway, I had put a GT front end on my V6, and bought a wiring kit to hook up the foglamps. They worked fine for a while but all of a sudden both lights fail to come on. This wiring kit came with a GT switch, and some relays which just basically hang by the fusebox. Would anyone know a good way to start troubleshooting these? I'd really like to get them working again. I thought about just getting some new relays but wanted to put a little more thought into it. I don't want to buy expensive parts if I can troubleshoot a bit first.
Any thoughts?

And sorry, it has been so long ago since I bought the wiring kit, I would have no idea on what website I purchased them from...

I would first see if the wiring harness has any fuses built in (lets hope). Are they blown? If not, the next most suspect part would be the relay(s). Many times you can get an idea of the condition of the relay just by looking at it. Is there corrosion on the terminals? Do you see any green residue around the terminals? This would be a sign that the copper parts inside have been exposed to excess moisture/ water damage.

I'll look for an inline fuse and take the relays out to verify. I wonder how much those little jewels cost to replace? I may see how much they are and replace one to see if it helps. It is strange that both lights stopped working at the same time. I'll also check the switch now that i'm thinking out loud, so to speak...
Thanks!

BTW Starkey, I went to your website to check it out.... purchased the trunk switch. What a great idea! I always wondered why there wasn't one.... anyway, thanks!

Not too much actually, you can usually pick them up for under $8 each at a Radio Shack or other electronics store. Just make sure you take the old relays in so you get the proper replacements. Depending on the manufacturer of the harness you should be able to unplug the old relays. There are different relay configurations for different applications so you'll want to make sure you get the right ones.

Since they both stopped working at the same time, its most likely relay or a fuse. If only one lamp had gone out, we would suspect the bulb or wiring was to blame, but both failing at the same time seems to point to something else.

If there is only one relay on your wiring harness, it may be a Starkey wiring harness in which case I can get you new relays out under warranty right away. If you are unsure about it you can snap a picture of it under the hood and we can verify if it is ours or not. We have a 5-year warranty on all wiring products so you would be covered!

Thanks for your order of the trunk switch, you'll love it! Such a nice convenience to have, you don't realize how nice until your without it.

Sorry about the pics... forgot. Anyway, there are 2 relays. I stopped by the parts store, picked up one new relay and one new bulb for the foglights. I figured if i could get one side to work, the other side would be easy.
What I found was that the connections on the relays were all gunked up. BTW, the lights won't work unless both relays are in apparently. I moved them around a bit, found out that one of my relays was not working, and after figuring out which one, my lights came on! I put the bulb in the glove compartment for later.
