Under hood pics!! Glad it worked out, don't think I could do it, lol.
And yes, these beast overheat on the track. constant 4500-6800 rpms full throttle or full braking, I was overheating too!
Gauge would start to climb, I would have to let it coast in the straight, but that didn't last long. And this was only on a real hot day.

The mod works really well, it also helps with hood lift at speed. Before it used to bulge, not it just stays put. I really hated having to cut into the hood, but honestly, I don't plan on selling it until it's literally falling to pieces, and by then, whoever buys it will just have to deal with the hole

A bigger/better radiator is the only 'upgrade' available, and I believe he has already done that. Coolant is coolant...wont change anything.
Airflow through the radiator is what is more beneficial, and this vent accomplishes that wonderfully.

Thanks, it's an easy although nerve wrecking mod that does reduce under hood temperatures. Fully functional and very cheap. Plus, no crappy fiberglass hood can match the weight of the oem hood.
