Hood Corrosion TSB 06-25-15
I have hood corrosion on my stock hood (2006 GT) - (front hood lid and under front part of hood) - I took the car to my closest dealer and they told me to bring it in Tuesday - They will need the car 2 days. They said it would only require "spot treatment" - not entire hood fix.
btw - I called Ford and they will not pay for a rental for the 2 days. They say you need a "special" plan for this.
Any feedback or experience with this? I will post my results/experience,

It comes from not putting enough miles on it daily. 
Stealerships wont do anything unless it has to do
with selling a new vehicle.

Right - they have an Enterprise rental right at the dealer. The rental is no big deal.
Just hoping they can do a good job on the fix.
Anyone have this problem and have it fixed? Please let me know your experience.

Pretty sure it means Technical Service Bulletin - there is one for hood corrosion on the 05-08 Mustangs - 06-25-15. You can see them on this site.
I noticed the hood corroision - this TSB - when I was waxing my car. It is a 2006 with only 4100 miles.
Hope they fix it right at the dealer. Any experience with this one?
