Default any one have the JBA long toob headers?

i have long toob headers from JBA but i have a QUESTION for those who got the same header pipes as me. did you guys use your stock mid pipe or did you guys use an after market exhaust pipe. i got the JBA H pipe because the guy at rpm outlet said that the bassani x pipe i wanted to get wouldn't fit the headers i got you think this is true? or was it a load of BS

I want those headers as my next mod. I want to try and use my stock mid pipes. I want to try to install fake cats. Let me know if you can get away with the stock pipes. I know you were looking for answers but I am too.

Have you checked with JBA directly? They are here in San Diego where I live and have been extremely helpful. I plan on having them do my Vorthech supercharger and JBA shorty header install, as well as the custom dyno tune (for an 05 Mustang, it runs $600 and includes the SCT X-Calibrator tuner, dyno time, dyno operator and custom programming). I recommend you send an e-mail to Bruce Tucker at btucker@jbaracing.com.

The guy wasnt right I have that set up with the headers and x pipe and it works just fine, granted Larry(the muffler guy that did my work) had to adjust some of the pipes. but no problems.

think i am just going to order the bassani x pipe with out any cats i mean whats the point i already have long tube header pipes and an off road x pipe there is no way i am going to pass smog when i go back to cali. but that is not for 3 years so i am not worried at the moment. just have to put on the stock set up when i go home. i wonder if the bassani x will add any more power to my set up or if the jba H pipe is the way to go. i might dyno using both to see i also have a friend who has an slt loud mouth that he said he would let me dyno with so i guess i will have 4 diffrent dyno results and pick wich set up i like the most.

this is the first NON smog exempt car i have ever owned. before i could and have ran straight pipes out the back with no mufflers. after my ears started to bleed i swaped them out. but i have never had to worry about h pipe this and x pipe that and off road pipes. just bought what ever i wanted and had no worries. i will put stock exhaust on when i have to bring my stang back into the states just for the smog check but untill then flow freely little pony!
