Interconnect Audio Cable ?

RE: Interconnect Audio Cable ?
The answer to this question isn't a fixed one - it all depends what length you NEED to get from the back of the head unit, to where the amp is mounted! If you have soldering skills you can make your own. IMO there is NO need to buy overly expensive MONSTER CABLE or other high priced cable - you're only dealing with a line level audio signal here. The most important factor is a good shielded cable, and only needs to be 20g or 22g on the two inner conductors. Run the audio cable on one side of the car, and the 12v power on the other to avoid interferences. And ground the amp NEAR its mounting location - don't run the ground cable very long.
Or the simple answer would be to just go to a Target/Meijer/etc and buy a set of 18 footers and tie up the slack under the dash and call it a day!

Not wanting to start a fight, but have you ever cut open a Monster Cable?
If so, you would never buy one again.
I was also planning to go by the drivers side or 16 foot it is Thanks!
