Default extnesion for radio antenna to head unit

I just installed the AppRadio 4 head unit, but the radio antenna socket is on the far end of the head unit, and the antenna cable doesn't want to reach. Can I just search for antenna extension cable on eBay, or will it differ depending on the type of car? I have a 2006 mustang.

You might try Best Buy.

Are you sure you don't need an antenna adapter? I needed an adapter like this to convert the OEM antenna connector to the one on my Pioneer head unit. It added a few inches of length to the cable as well.

Yea definitely don't need an adapter. Before screwing the head unit in I am able to connect the antenna and the radio works. Just need a short extender.
