Anyone use a locking gas cap?

RE: Anyone use a locking gas cap?
I have a Stant locking cap on my '06. Works fine. A bit of a PITA to unlock, but better than loosing a tank of $4/gal gas. The scary think is that theives are now punching a hole with an ice pickin the tank of cars with locking gas caps.

They are next to useless. They can be broken off with a pair of pliers, or if you stick a screwdriver under the flange and just give a little leverage it will unscew like it had the key in it. The old metal one's from the 70's are almost indestuctible, the plastic new one's are more for a false sense of security for the owner. Besides with the saddlebag gas tank in the middle of the car, I'd guess that it would be close to impossibleto siphon gas from the filler neck. And a Mustang seems like it would be a pain in the @ss to crawl under to puncture the tank; too low. If I was a gas thief I'd be under one of those huge 25-30 gallon suv tanks.
