I had a very slight curb rash, touched it up with some aluminum model paint. Can't tell from several feet away.

Yes! Buy mine. JK Like mdg said; touch-up paint will do it. They're just painted and clearcoated.

From what I have heard it depends on the severity.
Do you have pics?

if it's too bad, there isn't much you can do.

there are people that do rim repair, chrome is the hardest to repair.

For the more serve cases there used to be a DIY compound kit that you could buy.... kinda like a 2 part apoxy that when mixed together could be layered over the top, shaped, flattened, etc, then buffed out to a shine but I haven't seen it in years.... guess it was toxic or something.

There are also companies that specialize in repairing scuffed, chipped, scraped, damaged rims....

But as above depending on how bad it is you can probably just touch it up yourself.....

The "fix" is take several many shots from the Old #7 bottle, cuss at your self for awhile, then move on. No matter what you do YOU are still going to know it's there... =(

Default Curb rash

I had rash on all 4 of my 18" Fanblade rims. I fornd a set of used rims pretty much perfect and just switched them out. I decided to use the old set for a set of Dunlop winter tires. From a distance you can't really see the bad spots. I figure since I drive my 'Stang year round, it will make my Michelins last longer, give me safer driving in the winter and keep the salt off my "new" Fanblades. I am very careful to stay away from curbs with my new 'Blades.
