Default 2014 convertible water drains

I searched, didn't find anything on this forum, so please forgive me if I'm being redundant.

My 2014 convertible is collecting water behind the driver's door after I wash it, or when it rains. Can hear it sloshing around. I took it to my local dealer and he offered to fix it, since the car is still under warranty, but I have to leave it for a day while he calls Leak Pro (an outside company) in. (I found this surprising, the dealer not knowing how to unstop the drains).

But, I figure I need to know how to fix this myself, anyway, since the bumper-to-bumper warranty will expire in about six months.

Any help? Thanks!

I have never heard of water behind the drivers door. That seems odd. I don't have a convertible though. But it is possible that the water is coming in from other places then you'd expect and its just pooling there.

One water drain on 2006 gen is just in front of the firewall. It if gets clogged up, it will eventually leak into your cabin on the passenger side through the air cabin filter.

You could try to do your own test. Get a hose and have someone poor water on the car and look around and listen to see if you spot where it is coming from.

Do a search for water leak on here as well, I am sure this is not the first time it has come up.
