Sorry to hear about that, but you'll make it even better than before.

You'll have $918 coming your way from the hood alone...
$500 or less will buy you a good looking aftermarket one.

Good luck.

Glad you are ok. Deer are such a problem. We have lots of them here in NJ .
Your damage made me want to cry, but at least you can get it fixed. Maybe even better than it was!

--- My niece had a deer attempt to jump OVER her Nissan Exterra... he missed. Kicked in the windshield, and kicked her in the chest trying to get off of the truck. What a bloody mess it was. And deer hair everyhere. She is ok, and it took a bit but the truck is now too. Some friends of hers tracked it in to the woods and it was dead. It was a 6 point buck.

I don't understand deer behavior.

Animals in the wild run FROM danger. Not towards it. Do you see gazelles and wildebeast running towards the lions? No. They try to get away. Yet deer move towards the road. Towards your car.

I believe they may be one of the stupidest animals out there.

How did you make that part under the scoop shiny looking? Just some sort of metallic paint?

I like your color combo, but then again great minds think alike....
As for the hood scoop front piece, its the factory hood scoop and I haven't done anything to it. It might be just a reflection from the sun when I took the picture, I was going to take the grill piece out of it and leave it off before Bambi had to jump in front of my car.

Now I will have a cowl induction hood on it when I get it back from the body shop.

Did you have your stripes painted on or are the vinyl? I'm debating on having the body shop paint mine on now

i've had real bad luck with deer hitting the side of my cars. I have a 96 crown vic PI and a 03 benz e320. The crown vic got T-boned by a ten point buck in the front wheel well goin 75mph (scared the living crap out of me). He hit the wheel well so hard the car made his *** end swivel violently into the door and it just caved in and his innards were splattered all over the side.

then i had a bambi tap its head into my benz back side door and leave a good dent.

those suckers can do alot of damage

Hunt the Deer down, kill it, skin it, chop it and sell its parts to make extra cash for even more mods.... won't be that hard to find as from the looks of your damage it will have a fog light hanging off it
