Default Leak in 05

Lately when it rains and the car is parked I am finding water on my passenger side front and rear floor. Has anyone encountered a similiar problem? Just want to know where to look for leak problem.

This has been a known issue with the 05-09 Mustangs. Try a search for 'water leak' or 'Pass side water leak' & should bring up tons of posts on the issue.
Mine ended up being a poorly fitted grommet behind the pass side inner wheel fenderwell, but alot have had plugged cowl drains that caused the same.
I've attached pics on where mine was, took about an hour or 2 to fix in the driveway.

A possible quick fix is to remove the 2 black rubber grommet drains at the bottom of the firewall in the engine compartment, and clean out any debris that may have collected in them.

Default We'll give them a try this weekend

The leak is pretty severe with all the rain here. The rear passenger floor is really soaked bad and the front is moist also. Got to try to figure out the problem and fix. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

...good info...

I currently have a leak in the rear passenger side fender area, the water puddles just behind the Shaker's 1000 amps in the trunk. I've looked everywhere and cannot find the source. I bought the car new and it has never been crashed. No exterior mods either. Its a major PITA!

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

Welcome to the "leak club".

Yep, you're gonna find tons of posts about it. That TSB will fill you in. Word of advice: get it taken care of ASAP! it's way more than just an annoyance. If you haven't yet, you're gonna start experiencing some serious problems with the electronics as the SJB gets soaked.

How Ford has gotten away without this being a recall yet, I just don't know.

Default electronics problem/warranty

My car is an 05 and out of warranty but did have an electrical problem that was repaired while under warranty. Wondering if the electrical problem was a direct result of the leak, and could make Ford pay to repair leak when the car is out of warranty. Any input?
