im a little over 22k miles on my manual 2008 v6 now. i know ford recommends checkups at this point, but does anyone know what is really needed at this point? i dont want to go to ford and get ripped off again. they charged me like $90 for an oil change and new filter last time.

Check cabin air filter.
umm....fluids
thats all i can think of. There are others you can do but you can wait longer.

Gas in the tank, you in the seat... 22,000 is too early to be worrying.

Fuel filter wouldn't hurt but not necessary. Same with cabin air filter. Keep up with your oil/filter changes. I second the tire rotation. Better yet, wider wheels and new rubber! Yeah, baby!
