Default another pypes story...

i've read literally hundreds of threads about the fitment issues of the pypes mid muffler system, but honestly after hearing all the tips about turning and bending and moving hanger rods, i thought that i would have no problem installing this at my buddies machine shop.

got the car off the ground and well secured with jack stands and factory exhaust came off no problems. started piecing the new pypes on and well to make a long story short, i now hate the fact that i decided to buy this thing. it sounds super super bad ***, but my god its a f***ing nightmare to install and we spent the better part of 5 hours messing with this crap and i finally said screw it.

bolted the m80's on and tossed the rest of the **** right back in the box, i'll have an exhaust shop try it or just bend new pipes that fit

like i said, sound is incredible but fitment is non existent, really, really bad

rant off, but im still pissed off

If I ever finally go that route, I think I'll just buy the M80's and have pipes bent for me.

^^thats what i did the m80s were 102.00 shipped from jegs then my muffler guy did the rest for $50.00... i thnk the muffler system is like $300.00 so i save half too i suggest extra hangers or something my car is so low they scrape on everything and the welds break and rattle before

It's best if you know a good mufler shop that can do it all from scratch.
The price difference shouldn't be all that much.

The exhaust shop that did mine put some spacers on the rear driver's side and i've had zero issues since then. Recently, the spacers came out and i've still had no vibrations or rubbing issues.
