to answer your question directly, unfortunately no. there is no way around that TPMS "error" other than breaking down the wheels & tires and installing either your sensors (car will acknowledge) or installing some new ones (you'll have to have them programmed to your car)

Well, I would agree with you but, Cruizin Concepts did not offer it, and after the fact you are looking for 200 plus cost of sensors for something I really have no need for.

I got sensors on my redlines when I purchased them and I have the same problem only when I drive for about 30-35 miles it goes off and is that way the whole day. when I drive in the morning its gone i'm so use to it now at first bugged the **** out of me. +1 on checking yourself for your tire pressure and you'll be fine.

The S197s from 07 and up have a TPMS because its govtment mandated.
Why, who knows? Maybe the TPMS manufacturers were in a slump
like the cash for clunkers deal nowdays...

Encapsulate your sensors inside PVC tube and inflate it to 34PSI.
Throw in trunk, problem solved... Period. Fork you TPMS...

Thanks. BTW I got the sequential tail lights now and lost the LEDs. Do I get off the hook? (and your signature block?)

The government mandate was created because of firestone.

Has anyone ever tried just mounting or taping all the sensors onto the wheel of their spare tire and then mounting the spare tire around it? I think that would be easier than trying to create some sort of capsule and then store it in the trunk.

Don't waste your money on those TPMS sensors. Both my friend and I did with our aftermarket wheels and we both still have to push the button each time we start the car and yes they were from American Muscle.

Did you purchase the tool and calibrate them to your computer?

Yes and not only did I use the cheap tool that came with the wheels but I had my local tire shop use their expensive one and still no good.
