blown PCM?
So last night i made a big mistake with the battery in the dark. i crossed some wires and my car started tripping out hard. ive had things from P0148 fuel to P1000 obd and after that it would not start back up. i left it alone all night and now it starts up but it says check the charging system and i get P0622 general field terminal circuit.
how screwed am i? and what should i do now?

well with the TT setup i doubt your under warranty ..?? Clear the codes again, take the car to autozone or some place like that and see if they can check your battery, any luck you fried a cell in the battery and thats it *****crossing fingers for ya*****

I suspect you may have fried the alternator. The internal components are not designed to take a reverse polarity hit. With a little luck there's a fuse or breaker somewhere that just needs to be replaced. If the car is running fine with the exception of the codes then the PCM SHOULD be fine.
Let us know how this turns out.
BTW, sweet wheels!

i dont see how you can cross wires on the battery. with the positive and negative cables all bound together and in the wire loom and the positive being longer than the other. Atleast on my battery, if i dont put it in correct, my connections wont be able to reach the battery terminals.
either way, good luck to you bud. i hope it is just the alternator or something cheap like that.
