The 45 degree angle seems to work for me. Since I don't drive the car often I normally take my time to fill it up anyways. Let the crowds gather.

I have the same situation, but not consistently. Just got gas, it was under quarter tank, and no problems. The temp is about 32-33. I believe the problem has more to do with where you get the gas at....different nozzles at different stations.

I've tried that too. Different station and pumps, same station and pumps, dont matter.

Only things that seem to help are wait til the car is almost empty, and keep my key on.

I would if I could, but in this stupid hippie state, it is illegal to pump your gas.

I get rebuked in Oregon for getting out to pump my own. Usually the first time I stop to refuel on my way through.

I have had only occasional problems pumping gas since I bought the car new in late 2006. The other day I couldn't get any gas to pump after the first gallon. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it.

Here is a quote from the tech who worked on it:
"disconected evap lines and blew out lines"

Just look underneith at the super small, 2 foot long, roller coaster type
gas filler hose from the filler to the tank and then understand why it
not work so good.
I start her slow and speed up until full boar and its all good until the last gallon....

Diggen up dead posts must tang man 2011?

I suppose folks can't read thru the thread and see that it's not only common but that the TSB is mentioned.
