Help!! New tire advice, please!
Hi everyone -
I have a 2007 V6 Mustang Convertible with the pony package, which came with Pirelli p235/55ZR17 m+s 98w Pzero Neros. At 64,000 miles I need to replace them (yes, I drive A LOT!)
Any suggestions on a good tire to replace them?
Note: (I am having a very hard time finding replacement Pirellis at a reasonable price. They are out of stock everywhere!)
Thanks for your time!!

You can purchase a set off of new take off:
http://www.newtakeoff.com/pirelli_ti...t-of_four.aspx
Then go to any local tire shop and have them put them on for around $50. That's what I did, except I ordered mine from tirerack.com. I checked, but it doesn't seem they have the OE tires anymore.

I went with a bigger size of the Pirrelli Pzero Nero and love them , But they are not cheap! If you are happy with the stock tires I would look into take offs at NewTakeOff.com $350 for the st of 4. The classifieds and Ebay have them cheap! Nitto is a good brand also avalable from American Muscle. Everybody want to step up to bigger and better! I hope this helps.

You're in Ohio and with your mileage I'll assume you need a long-lasting all-season tire. After that info, what are your driving habits and budget? Will you be sticking with the meager stock size or stepping up to more meat (but since you're a V6 it's not as if you NEED more rubber except for the look)?
I suggest you use one of the many tire distributor websites that have some very good search engines based on your needs. Tirerack.com is one of my personal favorites.

She said "at a reasonable price". Michelins are excellent tires but NOT reasonably priced if you're money conscious, IMO. And the Pilot Sport is a High Performance Summer tire; not an A/S. There IS a Pilot Sport A/S....

Yea, you're right. They are a little pricey. I have the Pilot Sport A/S.
