Default STBs, ENGINE COVERS & HOOD INSULATORS

I have a desire to install a FRPP strut tower brace on my '05 GT with the OEM engine plenum cover.
I have learned that clearance over the engine plenum cover can be achieved by installing, in my case, a FRPP non-GT strut tower brace.
The last part of this installation involves replacement of the hood insulator/liner and is where the information gets a little hazy.
In my forum research, I have been told that the hood liners on all 05-09s have been reformed where they now have a depression in the liner to clear the strut tower brace. I have also read where the suggestion is to use a hood liner for a 2008 Bullit which comes equipped with a factory STB and has this depression for brace clearance.
My question is two-part:
Are these hood liners (05-09 vs. 08 Bullit) the same hood insulator/liner OR are they two different liners AND if different, which would you suggest for my application.

I believe they're all the same. I took mine off, it kept rubbing against the plenum cover.

I went with the Blow By Racing adjustable motor mounts. Dropped the motor a 1/4 of an inch and no more clearance issues. You will feel a bit more vibration from the motor but you get use to it in no time. It also feels alot better as those factory mounts seem to give too much on launch.

There is actually a newer style insulator that was used starting in '07 that has the indents for the Bullitt type STB. My 07 was built in March and it has the newer style. I can post a pic if want, but mine has not been on since installing the Foose hood as I had the underside painted and it looks a ton better without it.
