Where did you mount your HID fog ballast?
I am about to do this and I cant seem to find a good spot for the ballast. I am ordering the Slim Digital set from retro solutions. I took the grill off the car and I cant seem to find a good spot for the ballast. I dont want to see the ballast from the outside looking into the grill so I need it to be hidden.
Can any of you that has this set please tell me where and how you mountedthe balast? Thanks.

I mounted mine on the black fender well, just behind the tail lights/opposite side of tires. The black plastic is think enough. Plus mine instructions said to keep cool. This way its away from engine bay. Have had for year and a half without problems

Haha personally I thought finding mounting locations for the fogs was FAR easier than the low/highs.
There's a bracket on either side of the radiator that already has a ~1/4" hole in it.. I simply modified the ballast clamp a little bit and mounted it directly to the inside of that bracket on either side. I got everything mounted and wired before swapping the bulbs out. In my experience with HIDs it's also generally a good idea to leave some slack with the high voltage wires going to the bulbs (ie. don't zip tie them to any rigid structures or wire bundles) - while it's very unlikely that they'll arc, you never know. Mine are zip tied at the base of the ballast to the wires that run above the fog grill area, then loop down (loose) to the light housings.
Oh and make sure you can't see the stickers on the wires through the grill. Ask me how I know
