Stock 011 GT breaks 12 seconds with Steeda CAI & tune

SGMP has always been known for a good prep, but I was far from good air. Also this was on Nitto's and not Mickeys so yes, the 1.72 made the difference. On 2 other passes it spun slightly to a 1.76 and 1.78 and those netted a 12.03 and a 12.04.
Run was made on 9/3/10 and you can check the DA calculator that the temps were in the 80's that night.

It's one of the reason I want MM&FF to hurry up with the car so I can take advantage of this great weather like everyone else. It will see 116-117mph with this weather now with no other changes.

You can see from my sig, I've got Steeda parts on my car. Whenever my Koni's come in, I'll have the Steeda HD Strut Mounts as well. Good job guys.

From that point of view your own statement is misleading. Most people arent going to bolt on drag radials and immediately break into the high 11's either.
Lets keep this real shall we? The cold air and tune was needed to get there. Nothing misleading about that.
And a title is just that, a title. The first paragraph of the article clearly outlines the rest.

(Btw it also has a tune, CAI, and drag radials)

^^What's the purpose of the gigantic picture?
Anyways. Yeah, I saw this video show up on Youtube and thought the same thing. Although, it's not like they are trying to necessarily "hide" the fact that it had DR's, they sure make it sound like "All it takes is this intake and tune and you'll run sub 12 second passes." That's just the way it comes off, Steeda, whether you intended it to or not. Great run regardless

That just made my DAY!!!
Thank you sir.
We had a 2011 on order but as you know they were showing up on the lots ahead of the pre orders, so we needed to get our hands on something. This was the car we found and it had the 3.31's in it. So we made several trips with the car like that and ended up getting a 12.2 something out of it on the radials. Since Steeda is more for street cars, we put in the optional 3.73's even though I pushed for 4.30's Ether way the performance of these cars is crazy.
We are still a couple months out on the strut mounts for your OEM shocks. If you got with the D-specs and coil overs, then our current kit will work.
Thanks again!

It clearly stated the mods in the first paragraph.
You sound a little bitter, maybe because you got a 2010 and didn't wait for the 5 liter. It's okay, your not the first and won't be the last
