i would offer up that there is the possibility that some single piston caliper brakes perform better than two piston models using objective criteria like torque or wear resistance. just like some V6's outperform V8's in terms of power and torque. on balance, however, i would expect better performance from a two piston arrangement than a single. (and i'd bet everyone in this forum would go absolutely ballistic if, when they got their new v8 mustang home, found out it only had 6 cylinders!) +1 on the comments about disclaimers often having zero credence in a court of law. the fine print could say something like "ford's ceo reserves the right to have sex with your underage daughter" but if he chooses to, he's committing a crime.
i see this as a fairly simple case of false advertising for which ford needs to make amends. and for crying out loud, ford, fix your website now. (unless they've switched production to the two piston versions!!)

That's a very logical way of putting it.

Ford will more likely issue smaller rebates. Either way, something will happen.
The sticker just says "Brembo Brake Package"

And the 2011 brochure clearly identifies the 14" Brembo vented rotor and four piston config as a front rotor accessory - check out the "Elements" page.

Well, color me misinformed. The story linked in the beginning of this thread claims that dual piston rears are listed on the window sticker.

It's not on the window sticker! It is listed on there website with the disclaimer which will clear them of any wrong doing, because who is going to take them to court over a set of calipers??? It's not like they hung a set of drum brake in the rear. Although you would think they would have corrected the website mistake by now!

So to all my Stang brothers CALM DOWN
