I have the Wilwood 14 inch 6 piston kit on mine and have been very happy with it. The rears were difficult to install but I understand the rears in the new kits are better.

not sure what baer kit you see for $800. but mine offer a more firm pedal during daily driving, huge difference in "panic breaking", and a world of difference on the track.

if you are planning on just keeping it on the street, i would hold out and just wait for the brembos to come down in price on Ebay

If you are just going for looks just get fake covers, its cheaper and just as useful for street driving

Fake covers have no place on my car. And it doesn't improve the look in my opinion.
