Actually, it's heated.

I wasn't sure if I should believe them or not, so I just never dug further.
The 2010 didn't use a direct injection system - it used the same 4.0, intake, fuel rails, and fuel system. The 2011 has a different engine and may use the direct injection system (can't remember now).

From what I hear though there is a difference in the wiring harness after 2005 so the connectors are different between the model years. The fuel rails are different but not the system - they simply have a bolt in cap on the 2005 that is fixed on for later years (that is the reason that when going to the Xcharger Xtreme you have to get some of the 2005 fuel rails because you have to be able to flip the fuel rails around).

The spark plugs etc are still the same. You may be thinking of the redesign for the 4.6 which did have an issue with the plugs.
Beat me to it! But heated .

The spark plug issue was with the GT's.

They changed the cylinder heads on them.
