Default Locating vacuum line for Seafoam treatment

I have a 2007 GT that I'd like to run some Seafoam through the intake. The only other car I've ever done this on was my wife's old VW Beetle and it was easy to find a suitable vacuum line to feed the Seafoam into the intake with. I'm having trouble finding one to use on my Mustang. Can someone please help me out telling me where to find one, or possible provide a picture showing which one to use?

Thanks.

I think I read somewhere here that they use the brake booster vacuum line off the master cylinder, but that is off memory... If you haven't already used the Forum Search tool, try that to get confirmation of location.

You could always pull the pcv line off the intake manifold and slide a piece of hose on it. It's right behind the throttle body.

I won't pour seafoam in my intake again. It doesn't get to all the cylinders evenly, plus it caused my engine to diesel(run on) after I shut the ignition off. just pull the number 1 and number 8 plugs after doing it and see for yourself. I'll still use it in the tank, but not through the intake.

If you do it, pour it into the vacuum line, don't let the vacuum line suck it up.

my son-in-law ran seafoam thru his brake booster twice about 2 months apart plus ran seafoam thru the tank 3 times in 2 months before pulling plugs out of 2007 f-150 5.4 with over 100k miles. all 8 came out without breaking, ford said whatever you did keep doing it. when he ran thru the brake booster line my daughter kept the rpm's at a steady 2k. and no problems, after seafoam he drove the truck around until it quit smoking.

running the engine at 2k is just to help keep it from stalling. It's not going to help evenly distribute the seafoam. Once you get to 2k rpms the vacuum returns to normal.

People think the smoke is from carbon burning, but pouring any petroleum product into the intake is going to smoke, try ATF. It will get shoved up into the spark plug seats, but running it through the gas tank is a much better way to evenly distribute it.

personally, i'll use water next time. No chance of water fouling your spark plugs and it dissolves carbon better.

You can see the vacuum line going from the intake manifold to the valve cover in this pic.

Are you the one who convinced this guy to run water through his crankcase? LOL...

I remember seeing another one a while back where some idiot thought that feeding sand in through his intake would port and polish his heads.

In all fairness he probably at least got a few seconds worth of sand blasting in.
