I literally park across 4 spaces at work, and 2 at school. I warn people that if they park near me and my car gets messed up, I will take something of value off of their car. Say, a license plate. Or some badges.

Btw, does anyone know anyone who might need all exterior badging from a new-ish charger?

How did they respond to that?

Happened to me last week. Was in an old van that I actually traded in for my new mustang and someone hit their passenger door into my driver door when I was in the car and they proceeded to get into their car. Im like there is a dent in my door, and they said so theres also a scratch there and I didn't do that. Now I really didn't care because I traded the car in a week later but their attitude was the point so I opened my door and slammed it into theirs and put a huge dent in the door and said oops Im sure there is a scratch somewhere and left.

All I've been seeing lately is horrible parenting when it comes to manners- this translates to opening car doors too, hell I see grown adults doing this. As if they still haven't developed freaking spatial awareness!

I don't like people keying cars period, so what, he took a few more spaces? Is a child in africa going to die of malaria because of it? No. And chances are he really just worries about his car like we all do.

The other day I spoke to this kid that I have been parking next to at work for the past 2 weeks. He had a nice infiniti, and the first words out of his mouth were "Thank You" I asked why, and he told me about how paranoid he was about getting dinged so he parked in the back lot, and was grateful I was on his other side to keep the jerks away. Said it gave him peace of mind throughout the work day.

My first thought about the guy was "what an arrogant douche". But he showed me all the nasty dings his car had accumulated (only a 09 model too, so it was young lol) and being a college student like me, he obviously couldn't afford to have those panels fixed and re-painted... Sad things.

Aw that's nice, Aaquib.
Parking at my college has done my poor car in.
I have 3 door dings in my passenger side door, and 2 on my driver side fender.
I just don't understand how anyone can't control their own damn door when they are getting out.

Lol thanks, but yeah I hear ya. Everyday I come out of class I have to hold my breath as I walk around my car haha.

I'm sure you'll get it sorted, either way the stang looks amazing (a few dings will never detract from that =D)

Ugh. that's why I park out in BFE. I'd go to the store manager and raise all hell. Put her job in jeopardy you know.

If someone did that to my car, I'd be sure to imprint my size 12 steel-toe combat boots into her driver side door with all my 185 lbs behind it...and be like "oh well it happens you know; I guess we're even."
