The diameter almost remains the same....just about .5 of an inch off, don't if this could be the issue.
Hey Toxix,

Sorry, just saw this post. The new wheels may have added weight which contributes to a decrease in fuel economy, and it may have affected the accuracy of the speedometer/odometer. If you still feel it is concerning, you are welcome to visit another Ford dealer for a second opinion.

Great advice, Nuke. Here's some additional Fuel Saving Tips that may help everyone.

If your fuel economy has decreased, you may want to have your Mustang inspected at the Ford dealer so they can see if there are any issues causing it.

Already took it to a dealership and they found nothing about it. I sent an email to Ford Customer Service - Advised that I would get a reply/phone call from a Customer service manager within 24 - 48 hours. No call as of yet in regards to this, it has been more than on week...

Are you able to escalate this or have someone call me back? Or do you not deal with Canadian based issues?

Owning a Mustang should be automatic grounds for not even discussing or worrying about GAS MILEAGE!

I know that my friend who has V6 auto gets worse mpg then my V8 manual... I usually get around 18mpg if I drive it really agressively, mostly highway... I get about 230 miles out of a tank that way... I get about 15-16mpg in a city traffic... But if I drive very carefully I can get about 300-320 miles of a tank on a highway, 23-24mpg...

if you notice, which you did not... I said

"Should be grounds for not discussion gas mileage problems" (Paraphrased)

SHOULD being the key and/or operative word, but I guess you missed that part.
