^This. I was having the same problem. Both front wheels still had 2 clips in them. Clips out and rides smoo
th, smooth now.
Think you guys are right because the shake did start when I got new tires. Had them balanced at a corner tire shop. Probably the problem. But I did have them rotated at Ford during last service. Assumed the the dealer balanced them after rotating them. Acytually going back for 60,000 mile service this weekend and will ask them to check for this and make sure the tires are balanced. Does Ford use the Hunter Road Force balance?

My Ford dealer at the time did not, (in fact they are the ones that f**ked up my balance in the first place) I think the actual Hunter balance machine is very expensive, but worth it though because it works.
I had the same issue when I installed a new set of CS69s. If yours were not balanced on a Roadforce machine, take it to a shop that has one. After a second trip to the tire shop, my vibration was gone.

Yeah...gonna find me a shop with the Hunter balance and take it there!
So my front end has a slight shake at like 60/70 mph. tires are new and balanced, front end alligned at last service. Any suggetions on what may be causing this?
What kind of balance was it? Static or Dynamic?
Alloys CAN be dynamically balanced but most shops will just static balance.
Static is the worst type of balancing because it only puts weight in the middle of the rims width.
Dynamic puts weights on the furthest inner edge and the furthest out edge (behind the face of the wheel).
Anyways, a step better than Dynamic balancing is Road-force balancing. That's where the wheels are balance while still on the car. This takes into account other things that can cause vibration like the contact of the rim onto the Brake Rotor where it mounts.
