who gives an 18 year old a muscle car??? It's going to be around a tree! Seriously man. Work for your first car, mature a little bit, then get your sports car. I got my 2004 GTO when I was 22, on my own. Just got my 2010 mustang GT, now 27. Feels so much better to buy your own car. Now, have your dad help you with a house. That would be a better investment for you in the long term.

Redo the suspension and things like that... Not so much on the power upgrades
GT500's may not have the best traction but at least they don't catch fire...

100% agreed. Can't tell you how many of my friends, who are spoiled rotten, were given nice cars by their parents and beat them to schit. It's the same story time and time again. On the other hand I've always had to work for my possessions and I appreciate them all.

I know, you're young and will probably say F that, but check back in a few years. If I was given my car as it stands now at 16/17/18 it would be around a tree or pole. Willing to bet on that. And it's just a measly 6er

Im currently 19. Im on my 5th Mustang, and no I didnt wreck any of them. One of my current stangs is making over 500hp. My other is a stock 08 Bullitt. I pay for the bullitt on my own and the other was somewhat bought for me. I treat it way better than the bullitt. Not every young kid is irresponsible.
Id choose gt500.
