piecing my own exhaust together help
so im converting my v6 stang from single to dual with gt mufflers cutting the y pipe out and going off the cat pipes and need the lenth of the driver side mid pipe ?

Same length indeed. It's easy to piece that setup together: get driver-side pipe, a couple 45* elbows, and connect it up.
Here was mine when i did it with the V6, using GT stock mufflers and GT stock driver-side pipe.
(oops, had the wrong pic...updated; jeesh that's a old pic...still had the stock driveshaft then!)

The mid pipe you need is the stock one for the driver side - the passenger side is the same on both the V6 and V8. You put the X up in place, mark the down tubes and Y for cutting.
Are you trying to custom make a mid pipe for the driver side? If so, you will probably spend more than just buying the mid pipe even at the dealer parts department, and you won't have to worry about getting it bent just right over the axle. And if you are trying to custom make your own mid pipe, none of us can tell you what length - you will have to cut and measure that yourself.
