White front turn signal bulbs/housing question
Hey guys I am looking to swap out my nite shaded stock turn signals for some black housing turn signal that are clear. However in the process I want to change the bulbs to white instead of amber. For the guys that have the white turn signals what bulbs do you use and if possible, link please! I am talking bright white not the halogen orangeish white.

I did almost exactly what you are talking about, except I have the smoked corners. I got leds from www.autolumination.com. I got the switchback turn signals and the front side markers bulbs. Here are some links:
Switchbacks : http://autolumination.com/switchback.html
Resistors for Switchbacks: http://autolumination.com/equalizers.htm
Sidemarkers : http://autolumination.com/194.htm
A note on the side markers I believe the correct bulb is the first one on the page and I think 194s are the right kinds. You might want to look online or in your users manual to confirm that. I got 6k side markers, I might should have gotten 8k because the bulb colors are off slightly from the switch backs. I have 6k HIDs and wanted everything to match, but overall its a pretty awesome mod. Also you may have to use resistors on the switchback LEDs due to the hyperflashing. They do this since they have such a low power requirement the computer thinks the turnsignals are out and therefore they hyperflash I haven't had to use them so far, but I have a pair sitting in my tool box just in case. Hope this helps

Yes I know, they don't really bother people for stuff like that around here!

Any LED comes with the possibility of hyperflashing so the switchbacks aren't anymore complicated than a regular LED, but yes I would think that a white led would blink just as well. so a resistor may be required. The resistor isn't too bad. The most difficult part would probably be finding a place to mount the thing.
