If it is what you want then jump on it if it checks out ok. If you like performance you will be disappointed as you will lose 100hp. I don't find visibility an issue on this car, not even in the least bit.

I bought a used 06 Deluxe GT. Putting in some 2011 leather ($295) and some other interior goodies have it very nice. If your patient you can score quite the deal. Good luck.

Well, I drove over to carmax to get my 2010 Camaro SS appraised so i could get mustang gt, and did not have a very good experience.

First off, from the look of the cheesey grin of the sales guy I should have just turned around.
2nd, he wasn't satisfied where I parked my car which was in a safe location away from door dings but wanted it to be parked literally 20 feet closer.
3rd, all he did was want to flirt with my wife and make connotations.
4th, then he turned defense when he found out she was a 28 year old professor.
5th, he offered me 18K on trade in.

What a waste of time. Well on the otherhand, im glad i didnt waste part of my weekend doing the appraisal instead using my weekday night.

You have to try a few places, and if you really wanna screw them over, get 3 quotes then take the best quote to the worst place and shop them. Make them give you a better offer.

Down here in south Texas where I'm at the guys seem to be buying the GT's with the Premium package 6speed manual then upgrading them as they see fit. Quite a few guys had Roush's and sold them for the 5.0's. These new coyote engines are a beast!

Me personally have a 2012 V6 6m coupe and i bought it from the dealers floor for $22000 out the door and I agree with the previous poster in that the new '11+ V6's are the best bang for the buck; putting out 5hp more than the 2010 GT V8.
Sure you lose some low end torx and the V8 grunt but you get a 7000 rpm screaming 305 horses and still get 33mpg and.....lower insurance payments.

Then of course, to be honest if I did have the money I would have got the 5.0 GT....

Yep, I'll just have to try a few more places and see if they're interested in purchasing for a fair price. Also, I have it listed on craigslist, and I'll probably list it in Autotrader as run till it sells.

I have had one offer so far, 8K down and a payment plan, but I'm not too sure i want to do that.

Definitely do that. I would've taken the first couple flirts at my wife then at the third I would've grabbed her and heel-toed outta there.

Take it to a few dealerships and keep running it online. You're on the right course.
