Default 2013 Pony mirror on previous models?

Do you think we will get them? It shouldn't be hard to splice the new mirror's electrical wire to the relay for the interior light. The interior light does the same dimming thing that the 2013 pony light does right?

Now someone just tell me where to crimp the wires and I'm good.

I have a buddy who's a service manager and he told me that I can order them but they will run about 700-800 installed by the stealership. The mirrors themselves accounted for about $400 of that cost.

Screw that!!! I ordered just the lights ... Driver side is on Back Order for now so still waiting. Looks like you just have to drill a 1 inch round hole in bottom of your current housing to mount them. Then wire them of course. They are $87 each retail but any of the Ford Wholesalers can get them cheaper.

Perhaps somebody with a 2013 would be nice and take a picture of the underside of their mirror.

I ordered them from Tousely. They looked them up so I don't have part number. From the videos I have seen they appear to be on the dome light circuit. If domelight is on the are on. They also dim after closing the doors just like the dome. I am hoping it is as easy as splicing into domelight to power them. I assume they are LED because they are very bright. Hopefully they are 12v and don't need some crazy SJB connection like ambient lights do.

I did find out the hole is not round so will need to use the light as a template.
