2006 mustang small pin size rust spots
Hello,
I just bought a 2006 ford mustang a couple weeks ago. today while i was near it i noticed three small pin size rust spots on the roof. I was woundering does enyone know a way to fix these????I'm on a fixed budget and cant take it to a body shop and i dont want to have to repaint the entire roof.Any suggestions would be great. Pics of the spots below.

Probably would be fine. Just so it is not to thick. You still need to expose any rusty surfaces that may extend under the edge of the paint chip.
Just wondering....if you bought it from a dealer, would they help you out any?

Clay bar only does fine surface imperfections, not like you have.
Have you asked a body shop?
Some have done a plasti-coat on body parts.....maybe a black roof would work. Search the forums for info on that.

There are several products that will do that. The issue I would be afraid of is it needs to get under the edges of the paint as there may be some rust there.
I would look into using small dremel pointed wheel to clean the rust....carefully......then treat with the rust protection and paint.
